Try a delicious traditional Greek recipe using Greek Gods Plain Greek-Style Yogurt.
extra virgin olive oil
, finely chopped
lemon, juice and zest
Strain yogurt using cheesecloth and a fine strainer, for several hours (this step is optional, but will result in a thicker tzatziki).
Grate cucumber into a fine strainer, avoiding the middle seedy part, add salt and push around with a spoon to draw moisture out. After most moisture if drawn out, pat dry with towel.
Combine minced garlic, olive oil, fresh dill and lemon juice and zest in a bowl, and fold into strained yogurt and cucumber. Garnish with extra dill and olive oil, and add salt asneeded.
